Onam was celebrated in the school premises amidt much fanfare with the involvement of staff and students. The celebration started with setting up of a pookalam at the entrance. Some students and teachers were dresed up in traditional attires.

Best out of waste held on 22nd July. Best out of waste competition for std III and IV brought an understanding among the students about preserving the environment by reusing and recycling waste material.

Story Telling Competition held on 22nd August. Story Telling Competition for Std I and II helped students to sharpen their presentation skills and recall the sequence in a story.
HAND WRITING COMPETITIONView Photo
Handwriting Competition held on 12th July. Handwriting is an essential skill for students. Hence the main aim of this competition was to encourage students to improve their calligraphy skills and to develop fine motor skill and confidence.
Drawing Competition held on 19th July. Drawing Competition on enabled students to exhibit their natural talent in sketching and illustrations which allow them to grow as an artist.
Clay Modelling Competition held on 22nd July. Clay Modeling Competition for Std I and II nurtured child's creativity and boosted imagination and self-confidence.
Millet Exhibition was held on 30 th September, 2022 at SIES High School. Around 25 students of Std. 7,8 and 9 participated in the event.
These students, with the help of their parents prepared food stuffs using millets ( Ragi, Jowar, Bajra etc.)
The motto behind the event was to make students aware of the health benefits of millets.
All participants gave their 100 percent to the event and expressed their eagerness to participate in more such events.
In commemoration of 75 years of Indian Independence, SIES High School celebrated Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in a grand manner. The entire school was lit up for the occasion. The celebration began on 8th August, 2022 with a variety of activities and competitions like dancing, choral recitation, Best out of waste, etc. The program culminated with flag hosting on 15th August by the chief guest Mrs. Suvama Ravi.

It is true that the guru or the one whose teaching enlightens us in the journey of life, is often equated with God and regarded as the link between man and the immortal. With this belief Guru Purnima was celebrated at SIES High school on 13 July 2022 with its traditional sobriety and reverence. Mrs. Parvathi B, our retired Head mistress from primary section graced the occasion. Students gave speeches on importance of Guru Purnima and even recited shlokas praising the guru, followed by a cultural program. The program ended with the chief guest's speech.
SIES celebrated Gandhi Jayanti for a week and hosted a few activities like assemblies based on Gandhiji's ideology, slogan writing competition, essay writing competition. A workshop was conducted for Std IX on 'Atma Nirbhar Yuva' wherein students acquired information on becoming self-reliant and various career options available in future. The celebration culminated with 'Prabhat Pheri'.
