IIMUN WORKSHOP BY CHEF VIKAS KHANNA (2021-2022)

A workshop was conducted by IIMUN at JBCN international school Borivali (W). The program started at 4pm with the arrival of chief guest - the great chef, producer, author who is none other than Mr. Vikas Khanna. The program proceeded with the welcome address and lighting of the lamp. Mr. Vikas Khanna unveiled his novel "Barefoot Impress" followed by a motivational speech that highlighted “Victory does not belong to an individual, it belongs to the whole country". Later the trailor of his documentary was screened, after which he praised Karthiani Amma's generosity, humbleness and curiosity to acquire education that motivated her to join school at the age of 96 years. This bold step stands a real motivator or action to promote girl education in rural areas. Mr.Vikas Khanna gave the credit of his popularity and achievements to his family. Being a master chef he ended his speech by saying "food have much more power than just not being on a plate" Later the choir group of JBCN school entertained the audience with their melodious voice. The program ended at 6:15 pm
